Measurement of the Decay T + Pv T
_ The decay r + pv is studied in r pair production by e+eannihilation at @ = 3.77 GeV, 0.20 GeV above rr threshold. The branching fraction is measured to be B(r + pv) = (23.0 f 1.3 f 1.7)%. The measured distribution of the helicity angle of the charged pion from the p decay agrees with the theoretical prediction. -. Submitted to Physical Review Letters ^ .:_* -
متن کاملMeasurement in the Di - Lepton Decay Channel
— We present simulations of the production cross-section measurement of top-antitop pairs in the di-leptonic decay channel with the ATLAS detector. This study uses the Commissioning Service Challenge (CSC) data, which is the latest and centrally produced Monte-Carlo data set to validate the detector simulation before the actual data taking. The signal process was generated with MC@NLO [1] and i...
متن کاملMeasurement of the Dalitz-decay branching ratio of the π
The ratio B = Γ (π → eeγ)/Γ (π → γγ) is measured by comparing the production rates of the π in the two decay channels. The analysis is based on approximately four million hadronic decays of the Z boson recorded by the ALEPH detector in the years 1991 to 1995. The value of B is determined to be (1.140 ± 0.041)%. A recalculation of the Particle Data Group world average gives rise to a slightly im...
متن کاملthe effect of taftan pozzolan on the compressive strength of concrete in the environmental conditions of oman sea (chabahar port)
cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
